This policy explains how Property Tax Compass collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Who we are
Property Tax Compass is operated by Peter Northey trading as Numinbah Holdings (ABN 52 377 609 885), based in Queensland, Australia. This policy covers propertytaxcompass.com.au and all of its subdomains.
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the site:
- Email address, when you subscribe to updates or submit a form. Forms are processed by Formspark.
- Payment information, when you purchase a product. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Correspondence, if you email us at info@propertytaxcompass.com.au.
- Anonymous usage data, via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This tool does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It tells us things like which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are from, not who you are.
We do not collect your name, address, phone number or any financial details beyond what Stripe needs to process a payment.
Why we collect it
- To send you the updates you asked for.
- To process and deliver purchases.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by the service providers we use to run the site:
- Formspark (form submissions)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Cloudflare (hosting and analytics)
- VentraIP (email hosting)
Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job. Some of these providers store data on servers located overseas, including in the United States and Europe.
We will also disclose personal information if required to by Australian law.
Marketing emails
If you subscribe to updates, every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing info@propertytaxcompass.com.au. We only email people who have asked to hear from us.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting what we collect in the first place. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we deliberately keep the amount of personal information we hold to a minimum.
Access and correction
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@propertytaxcompass.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us first at info@propertytaxcompass.com.au and we will do our best to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will always show the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
